Monday March 30- Digital Learning Activities

**Spirit Day- Get Moving Day! You can show us your dance moves, go for a bike ride, walk... Please send me a pic of you doing your movement. I will post them here and Mrs. Hallmark would like to see them too.

Reading: 15 minutes of reading on either Raz-Kids or Reading Eggs or read your favorite book and send a picture of you reading it.

Writing Response: What can you learn by just looking at the pictures in the book? What can you learn by just reading the words in the book? Choose 1 book-either a book you have at home or on Raz-Kids. Before reading take a picture walk, write what you can learn about the story just by looking at the pictures. Then read the book. Did you learn more? Did the pictures leave something out? Write what you noticed. Use the link below if you would like to record your answers.

Math: Brainpop video on Plane Shapes – complete assigned activities and the quiz. Complete pages 636 to 638 and post on Class Dojo.

Friday, March 27
*Spirit Day – Addison Spirit Wear – post a picture in your Addison attire! * 
15 minutes of reading on either Raz-Kids or Reading Eggs
30 minutes of social studies and writing– Go to the Addison Homepage and click on Kid Links, click on Cobb Virtual Library, click on the PebbleGo Biographies application, type in George Washington Carver in the search, read through and answer this question: What was his major contribution to society? Once completed post a picture in class Dojo.
15 minutes of working in the Math workbook, pages 547 – 550 – once completed have your parent check your work, how did you do? Send me a quick message through a video or written response.

15 minutes of reading on either Raz–Kids or Reading Eggs

15 minutes working in the Science workbook, pages 220- 227

15 minutes of writing – write about how you look like your parents just like plants look like their parents. Draw a picture of you and your parent – write in complete sentences and post a picture in class Dojo 

15 minutes of math – create a bar graph showing the number of these items: TVs, beds, doors. Answer these questions about your completed graph: What did you have the most of? What did you have the least of? How many did you have in all? Complete and take a picture to post to class Dojo.


Don’t forget story time with Mrs. Nelson at 10:30 each day. You can use it towards your reading time. Also, Mrs. Levi posts a new story each day with questions! Today is PE for our Specials. Please take a pic of you doing some physical activity and send it to me or draw a pic of it. Please send me some writing to go along with it as well.  I can't wait to see your study buddy pics. Monday March 23 assignment

Hi,
I hope all of you had a nice weekend with your families. I want to say thank you to everyone for sharing all the hard work your children are doing with me. I can tell that everyone is working hard and doing their best! Please continue to send pics of completed work assignments along with pics of you around your home. I have been working to get the pics in one place and will share a link soon to Dojo. I know everyone misses their friends so I thought this would be a good way to share. Also, please look for a video later today! Here is the assignment for today:

30 minutes of reading and writing – Go to the Addison Homepage and click on Kid Links, click on Cobb Virtual Library, click on the BookFlix application, click on the animals icon, find the Curious George Rides a Bike and Monkeys book choices. Listen to both books and compare and contrast the similarities and differences between the two books – once completed take a picture and post in a class Dojo message

15 minutes on Dreambox Math

Please be sure to check out our specials teachers blogs to see what they have posted for you. Mrs. Knobbe will have a Science Lab next week. Mrs. Nelson has a read aloud each day as well as Nearpod lesson with 2 weeks of activities visiting the National Parks. Mrs. Stoddard has a virtual tour of museums and a link for seeing a puppet show through Puppetry Arts! Dr. Sampson has fun music activities and you can practice your songs for our spring concert! Hope you can check it all out!

You can also practice the songs for our spring concert. Be sure to get some physical activity each day. The art hub is fun for kids as well.
