Hi!
Here's what we are learning in the classroom:
Language Arts- We are discussing opinion writing. We are working on using a topic sentence, supporting reasons, and a closure to repeat our opinion in a different way. We are discussing author's point of view.
Math- We are discussing subtracting and adding multiples of 10.
Social Studies- We will be finishing up Lewis and Clark this week with some lessons in the Learning Commons.
Science- We will be having a STEM challenge this week to build a bird's nest that can hold up to 4 eggs. We will be learning about different types of nests and watching videos of different birds building different types of nests.
Please let me know if you have any questions after reading my last email over the weekend.
Classroom Wish List- snacks for the snack bank, Clorox wipes, candy for the treat jar and crayons
Thanks for your time! Please note there are directions for setting up Dreambox in your child's folder coming home on Monday.

We had fun doing 100 piece puzzles, making things with 100 Legos, drawing portraits of what we may look like at 100 years old, and doing activities all about the number 100! It was a fun day!
